Training Solutions:
As a Dressage trainer, I can bring your horse up through the levels in a positive and supportive way that leaves them with a solid education that will last a lifetime. My mission is to develop secure, happy horses that take pride in their work. I focus on rideability, rhythm, and balance while encouraging an open line of communication between the horse and myself. This allows for the horse to find understanding in their work and fosters a calm, relaxed, and willing partner. I take care to create a solid repour with all of my horses not only in the tack, but on the ground as well. With clear and consistent boundaries I work to achieve a respectful, trusting relationship that allows for a confident, well rounded, and well mannered horse.
Our Rates:
We currently offer Full and Half training as well as mobile training and training/lesson packages.
Full Training (Stall): $1400 per month. 4-5 individualized training sessions per week plus stall boarding with 12-18 hours of turnout per day based on your horses individualized needs.
Full Training (Field): $1200 per month. 4-5 individualized training sessions per week plus field boarding with a run in shed.
Half Training (Stall): $1200 per month. 2-3 individualized training sessions per week plus stall boarding with 12-18 hours of turnout per day based on your horses individualized needs.
Half Training (Field): $1000 Per month. 2-3 individualized training sessions per week.
Training/lesson packages: I am here to meet you and your horse where you are and guide you to a cohesive partnership while enhancing your connection and abilities. Packages include both mobile and boarded training, and can be arranged to best fit your horse’s needs and your schedule. Prices will vary based on training and lesson frequency as well as location.

My background and passion is in Dressage with a strong focus on horsemanship. I got my start in horse training thanks to my riding instructor and mentor allowing me the privilege of being her test pilot for the auction ponies we converted into school horses. I now have over 15 years of horse training experience under my belt have trained anything from those unruly ponies to well-bred Warmbloods, Thoroughbreds, and my personal favorite: Gypsy Vanners. My goal as a trainer is for my horse to find joy in their work and for their owners to find joy in their horse. I focus on rideability, rhythm and balance as well as building confidence outside the arena so owners know they have a horse they can depend on.
Our Facility:
We live and train our horses off of 17 acres in Goochland County, VA. We are just 10 minutes from Interstate 64 and only 35 minutes from Richmond or Charlottesville. We have 9 fenced acres with 2 sheds for field board, a quarantine field for new horses, and 2 fields for turn out near the barn. The 4 stall barn is shared with the crushed rock arena, which is fully fenced and dragged daily. We have pull-through parking for trailers, with easy turn-around.
